Our mission

We're building the bug tracker for the AI era.

Bug reports were designed for humans to read and humans to fix. We think that's backwards now. BugMojo turns every bug into structured, machine-readable context — so AI coding agents can pick it up and actually close the loop.

Why we built BugMojo

AI writes code in seconds. Bug context still takes hours.

Coding agents like Claude Code and Cursor ship features faster than ever. But when something breaks, the loop falls apart. The bug report lives in a blurry screenshot, a half-remembered repro in a Slack thread, and a "works on my machine" shrug. The agent that could fix it never gets the context it needs.

We built BugMojo to close that gap. One click captures the full picture — a DOM session replay, console logs, network requests, screenshots, and environment metadata — and turns it into structured context that an AI agent can read directly over MCP. No translation step, no lost detail.

Before

Screenshot + Slack thread → engineer reproduces by hand

After

Machine-readable capture → agent fixes it over MCP

The principles we build on

A few decisions we won't compromise on — they shape every feature we ship.

AI-first, not AI-bolted-on

Every action in BugMojo has both a human UI and an agent-facing API exposed over MCP. Humans and AI agents work from the exact same source of truth — no second-class interface.

Privacy by default

PII redaction runs client-side in the extension, before any data leaves the browser. Sensitive fields are scrubbed at the source, not trusted to a server to clean up later.

Bridge, don’t replace

BugMojo works alongside the tools you already use. Push captures to GitHub, Jira, Linear, Slack, or Azure DevOps — we connect to your workflow instead of forcing a migration.

Open & portable

Built on the open Model Context Protocol standard and self-hostable via Docker. Your bug data is structured, exportable, and never locked behind a proprietary wall.
